Ans:

1.     Eucalyptus:

·         Extracts of eucalyptus leaves feature in topical remedies to treat arthritis pain.

·         The plant leaves contain tannis, which may help reduce swelling and pain related to arthritis.

·         Eucalyptus aromatherapy may help ease the symptoms of Rheumatoid arthritis.

·         Always dilute an essential oil with a carrier oil before use. Use 15drops of oil with 2tablespoons of almond or another neutral oil.

2. Boswellia:

·         Boswellia serrata also called frankincense.

·         Boswellic acid appears to have anti-inflammatory effects that could help people with RA, Osteo arthritis, and gout.

·         Frankincense capsules may help improve pain, function, and stiffness due to OA.

·         Doses of up to 1gram a day of boswellia appear to be safe, but high doses can affect the liver. It’s available in tablet form and topical creams.

Note:

·         You should ask your doctor before using willow bark, especially if you are using blood thinners or have a stomach ulcer.

Home remedies:

1.     Vitamin C:

2. Drink water:

·         Staying hydrated is one of the most effective ways to keep gout flare-ups at bay.

·         When you become dehydrated, uric acid levels increase which directly leads to an increase in the number of gout flare-ups and gout pain.

3. Reducing stress:

·         Heightened stress can worsen gout symptoms.

·         Exercising if the pain does not limit movement.

·         Meditating.

4. Elevating the affected joints:

·         To reduce swelling is by elevating the affected joints. This encourages blood and fluid to move away from the joint and back toward the heart.

·         A person can also use an ice pack with elevation to reduce their gout symptoms. These two remedies form part of the rest, ice, compression, and elevation method (RICE Method).
